We were looking at the usage metrics and we could say that we had customers only using a few features, and we thought that maybe simplicity and ease of use contributes to that.

The idea was to make it easier to use, easy to develop, and for our customers to get about. And I think we've achieved that, it was quite a big project.

littlevoice understand UX/UI design, they understand how companies work, but for me it's not the pixels, not the design, it's actually thinking about the patterns and how people interact, and jobs to be done, and the need behind the need.

There were two parts to what we wanted to do with littlevoice. First – how do we think about research for customers, how do we ask them the right questions to influence the product roadmap, and going forward really understand the ecosystem? And the second – a design element of being able to modernise the applications that we have at Alfresco.

littlevoice team brought tremendous value – their work enhanced the product function tenfold in terms of being able to get a quick understanding of where we need to go, a direction of travel, and North star, as well as provide various design assets to the engineering team.

The major emphasis has been on speed to market – our ability to have a clear direction, based on customer research. But also to be able to bring things out like our mobile experience, our documentation portal, our low code model or application. Speed, but also thoroughness of vision and the way it was executed was amazing.
